What Does It Mean When She Does That!?!?

Ok Ive been talking to this girl My friend is tring to hook me up with, they go to school together the next state over, and then this girl stops sending me email and while talking to my friend this girls had suddenly gone "missing" and i heard this whole story about when she showed back up. My friend came in this weekend and when I mentioned the event it was a whole lie, This girl wanted to get me to worry about her. So what does it mean?? Is that strange?

Update:

Well my friend that is hooking us up is my best friend's girlfriend. She told me she did't show up to school for a whole week even though she emailed me that monday saying she was about to go to class, then my friend was like im going to where she works to check on her b/c she lives alone. Then the Next day I was talking to them both and my friend was like she gave me a bunch of free movies and video games b/c her uncle owned the video store she was working at, and then the girl was like I can't believe how worried you guys were, she came to where I work to check on me, you guys are crazy.

But this girl doesn't date she is 19 and has had like only 1 boyfriend and it was for a week and she dumped him b/c he just was tring to get in her pants. So I guess thats trust worthy traits.

    OMG why would you want to go "missing"? Well obviously she likes you!! Good for you! Um try talking to her more if she doesn't dissapear first (again). I think it's kinda strange,but aren't we all at some point? lol

    Okkkk! She's a bit of a drama queen and some one to stay far away from I mean what next would she do to know if you love her or want to marry her, (stage her own death??) It is very strange and it is time to move away from her.

    you have to be a little more specific with the story to get acompletely accurate answer but it' s possible that she might not be interested anymore and doesnt know how todeal not to be an asshole but its possible

    it means she is insecure and likes playing mind games to make herself feel better... if i was you i would dissapear from her only not let yourself turn back up and let her move on to her next victom
