sending large files over internet?
If you want to send large files over the internet and can't heres a program that will help. HJSplit go to <http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit%3E and download the program its free. Enjoy hope this helps a few of you.

http://www.yousendit.com/ is easier and free. works online, can send up to a 1GB attachment for free.

Another way to get that large file (or group of files) from computer A to computer B is to use FTP (file transfer protocol). A little more complex process but it seems to meet my needs (web support) flawlessly. You'll need to have access to an FTP server and you'll need to download some software called an FTP client - I use WS-FTP and it works very, very well. Also, the files you place on the FTP server will remain there until you delete it/them. What this means is that multiple computers are able to download the files if the correct username and password (the one that comes with your access to an FTP server) is used.
