Bug Bite Or Boil ?
This past Monday when I woke Up I had a Stinging Sensation On my right forearm and I Scratched it,That evening the Bite Started getting red and Spread from my wrist to my Inside elbow.On Tuesday Morning It got worse and Itched alot,Redness,Swelling.I tried to Doctor it at home and No hope.By Wednesday Morning,The redness was worse and The Swelling was also.I went to the Doctor and he said 'It did Not look like a Spider Bit,But was Not sure' Gave me a Shot of Antibiotics and Drew Blood for a CBC,That came back All clear..I have been On the Antibiotic for About two days and Now all Redness is gone except for the Bite area and it has a Small Brownish Center..I have been Soaking In Warm water for 2 days,3xs a day and So far all the Infection is at the Bite area,Still Itching some But nothing is coming Out! It is driving me Insane.The Swelling is going down (Thank You Jesus) But I was told Not to Pick at it,That it will Do its thing on its Own..Any Suggestions??
Just a Few Minutes ago the Brown center came Out with Hard Small Scab,Now there is alot of Pus and it is all together.Still Not moving.But,This is a Start! Thank you all that have anwsered my Question.I will keep you Updated.Keep Me in your prayers.The Bite is Small,So for this stuff to come out it need to Just drain.
Ok an Update.Well,Last week I could Not take the pain and Swelling anymore,So I went to the Doctor.Which they gave me a Shot of antibiotics in the Rear and Sent me Home with some to take for 8 days 2xs a day,I did that and the wound started Draining.I Soaked it 3xs a day In Warm water and Put Cream On it to Stop anything from getting in..Now,My arm is back to Normal Size,Feeling alot better and the Redness is all gone.I still have some Itching around the Sore But,Other than that,It is better.I finished my Meds and Now am waiting for the Little Knot under my Skin to go away.On the outside of where the Bite is Once it all went down the Skin started Peeling Some.So,Now I am Just keeping an Eye on it all..Thanks again for Listening!

Leave it alone!! If you mess with it, another infection can develop! keep up what you're doing, and if it would make you feel better put some TAO (topical antibiotic ointment) on it. this may also reduce the localized itching!

Go to your local pharmacy and ask them about a "Drawing Salve". It is a blackish thick paste that you apply to the wound. If there is anything in it this will get it out without you having to pick at it. Also you've only been on antibiotics for two days, give them some time to do their job. Hope you feel better.

It feels like an insect chunk to me, bypass to chemist once you get danger and p.c.. up a tube of anti itch cream, it extremely works wonders, even even if it truly is a boil etc coming it really is going to assuage it till eventually it includes a head, sturdy success. no longer large being saved unsleeping through itching epidermis.

Could also be a shingles eruption if you have pain also. Try soaking it in epson salts and warm water or use Caladryl cream on it.

sounds like a bug bite. leave it alone and bandage and use a neosporin cream.
