What's the original version of "The Vanishing" like?
I don't mean the 1993 remake with Jeff Bridges and the Kiefster. I'm talking about the original that was made in 1988 called "Spoorloos" or something like that. (Please no spoilers...I just want to know if it's worth renting)

It is definitely worth renting because it is better than the 1993 version. Same basic concept, but different details and more emotion. Just my humble opinion.

I definitely preferred the original to the remake. It was much more atmospheric and just generally a better film.

I haven't seen it, but I know about three people who have and they have all said that it's better than the Keifer and Jeff version.
