Why is "Unlimited questions" 9999?

When I asked this question it says this..

Asking costs you 5 points. You can ask 9999 more questions today

Level 5 is *Unlimited* questions why does it say I have a limit??

Update:

I just realized how long it would take to ask 9999 Q's I don't think I have that much time or points to ask that many

Still it is a limit on unlimited...bit weird isnt it

I asked that question once too. Check below for what they gave as insights.

Most likely, in programming they had to set a limit so they chose an incredibly high number such as 10,000. (had to set a limit as the other levels had one and instead of writing completely new code, copy and pasted?)

LOL I was thinking that the other day. Someone asked why there are limits. But they were talking about the lower level. SOmeone said that the place would just be filled up if there wasn't. I informed them that the upper levels don't have limits and we're just fine in here. I couldn't even imgajine using up all those. 1st of all you'd have to have 50,000 pts to use them all up. SO one peron could do it if they tryed. LOL Imagine what the site would look like if everyone used up their questions and points!!! LOL UPRISING!!! That would be funny!

Probably they thought no one is actually going to ask that many questions, and to show they you have the same privileges as level 6& 7.

I think because 10,000 is too much.
