I love lots of shows on BBC-America, including My Family, My Hero, Little Britain, and Father Ted (old reruns)

Lots more! Watch out for Only Fools and Horses, Allo Allo, Dad's Army, Keeping up appearances, Porridge, Open all Hours, Fawty Towers and many more. Really old ones are The goodies - bit silly - but you may see a rerun. My Hero was good - but you haven't seen the best yet! Allo Allo was probably the best. Only Fools and Horses Christmas specials - with David Jason. Anything with Ronnie Barker in it! Are you being served was shown in the US - you may get reruns of that. Nicolas Lindhurst was in Only Fools and Horses - but was in a time travel comedy - that may have been "As time goes by", with Derva Kirwan.Ballykissangel was a sort of comedy too with Derva Kirwan. Bread was a good comedy - I think that was the BBC too. The liver birds was about 2 Liverpool girls - really old one. The likely lads was similar about two guys and their exploits. Brush Strokes - not many people remember that one. That was good. Brush Strokes was about a guy who was a decorator - with an eye for the ladies... the actor is doing adverts now for cleaning products. Really old program - probably in black and white was Steptoe and Son, On the Buses was around that era. Last of the Summer Wine is still being made I think - that's brilliant. But the BBC mostly make garbage and show repeats now - spent all their money going digital - lots of channels - no decent programs!

Coupling, Men Behaving Badly, Black Adder, Brittas Empire, Ali G, Alan Partridge, League of Gentlemen, Only Fools & Horses, Citizen Smith, The Office, Red Dwarf, The Young Ones, Fawlty Towers, One Foot in the Grave are all fantastic .... the list's almost endless, not all are produced by the BBC though.

THE BEST BRITISH COMEDY SHOW IS FATHER TED I would know I'm British PS. Someone said that League of Gentlemen and Little Britain are by the same people well he is wrong. Little Britian is performed by David Walliams and Matt Lucas whereas LoG is peformed by Reece Shearsmith.

Little Britain is great. I suggest getting hold of "League of Gentlemen" - it was the series before Little Britain by the same guys.

I like the old stuff too like Are You Being Served.

Little Britain, High Spirits with Shirley Ghostman, and Black Books.

  • Rowan Atkinson in Mr Bean and Blackadder. Hella funny!
