There are some of the same properties between aspirin and ibuprofen. People that are allergic to aspirin usually are advised not to take products such as ibuprofen or naproxen unless cleared by a doctor because of the likelyhood of a similar reaction. Ibufrofen is not the generic name for aspirin, it has absolutely nothing to do with aspirin...
Ibuprofen=Advil, Motrin
Aspirin =ASA, Anacin

Ibubrofen is a NSAID (nonsteroidal antiflammatory drug)ther is no Aspirin in it, but it affects the blood platelets like Aspirine.

no, aspirin is a completely different drug than ibuprofen with different mechanisms of action.
