Randall Graves is a character in Clerks... Being that the death star was detryoed as it was being built, innocent construction workers were likely to be on the ship, sure they are getting a check from the dark side but that might not be where their political affiliation lies.

iono who randal graves is, but it def left a lot of uncertainty... vader haad already returned from almost certain death once.... possible he could have done it again? it left a lot of loose ends, as do all good stories that make you think

No, I think it left an uneasy feeling because it was the second of three acts (at the time). It was dark, and didn't really have a resolution.
