You only need to smog a vehicle in Washoe or Clark counties. If you are going to one of those counties, you will need to call DMV directly. There are contact numbers on the following site: http://nevadadmv.state.nv.us/emission.htm

We don't smog vehicles here. At least not in Northern Nevada. There are no emissions testing facilities. We have a smog hotline to report visibly overpolluting vehicles. It is 775 686 SMOG

different states have different emission laws. I know that Cali is the strictest. You will have to get it resmogged if that is even necessary.
