western digital, seagate, or maxtor?

I've used all three a great many times and all three are just as good.

I actually have 4 hard drives in my PCs, 600 gigs, 2 WD's and 2 Maxtor's.

I would just go with whatever you can get the best price on.

Seagate is the most loudy hdd..

Maxtor service and guarantee isn't better as well as Western digital..

I prefer to use wester digital because it is coll and low volume sound..

segate will be biggest hdd producer but same size same speed hdd Between western digital is more hot and has higher volume...

you can close your eyes and buy western digital.. ;)

Seagate ofcourse! Not because the other two are bad, but because its made for some tough usage. Although I've seen Western Digital being used by quite a number of people but I've also seen them complaining when it comes to some tough hardware usage. But I myself have used it quite vigorously for quite sometime and it still works fine.

I have used Maxtor hard drives without any problems, for over 12 years now. (I am not talking about one drive, or one computer, the number is in the hundreds)

I think your best solution is to go to the web sites of the Hard Drives you posted and study the spec of each including the price, and don't forget the power and cable format of your PC, Good hunting.
