You have to actually write a short sentance before you hit "create a poll"

Poll question
Choice 1
Choice 2
etc.
Remember dont click on "end this poll" till your poll is ended .You can end your poll at any time by clicking
My Blog > edit entry > close poll

Just click on the poll in your blog. Write out the subject and list the choices.
