I Think the reason we are here is to ask and research the question, "Why are we here"? What to you think?

Interesting! It is just ONE of the questions that we are to ask ans asnwer - for each one of us.

Here is something that I learnt from another sources. Quoting from another Yahoo answer:

In other words, how people answer the questions: WHO AM I? WHERE DID I COME FROM? WHAT AM I DOING HERE? WHERE WILL I GO WHEN I DIE? WHAT WILL HAPPEN THERE?

To me, that is also the definition of religion: a set of answers to the above questions."

I can not answer why others are here but I am here because I want to know what kind of questions people have and how the rest of us answer such questions and try to share as well as learn from such Q$A's.

We're here to learn and to use what we learn to the betterment of society. We help people, who in turn help other people, and it goes on and on forever. Who knows what the end result will be? We just gotta wait and see, I guess.

I think there is a very simple answer to the why are we here question.

We were all born to be alive.

we are here for enjoy life and all the wonderfuls things that GOD prepared for us also this life is a preparatory live this life will determine where you will pass the eternity:in the hell or with GOD.

you could go in circles on that one!

we are here to have a relationship with god. of course it's up to you if you want to accept that or not.

I think we r here for sum random persons amusment.

i agree with you but as im a nonbeliever and many are believers i dont think we are ever gonna agree or find an answer so maybe we should all just agree to disagree and get on with life ???????

We are here to help others...I'm not sure what the others are here for.

Ask and answer questions and also learn from them.
