report abuse ?

Yahoo answers has pulled my user name because someone said I had an inappropriate answer to a question. I lost all my email addresses and quite a few emails.

They said I was profane yet I have never used a profane word on any answer or question I have submitted to this site.

All you need is to have someone disagree with you and you are gone.

If you read the Community Guidelines you will see that many questions and answers would be considered inappropriate for this site. The hardest hit of course is love and romance.

Their guidelines requirements are too vague and too open ended and almost anything can become inappropriate under them. A group such as this should not have such guidelines because it is a world wide forum read by all societies with different moral values. So to express an opinion you leave yourself wide open to loosing your emails and addresses.

Catus Flower you may believe you are doing something good by reporting someone in a heartbeat, but who gave you the right to be God and force your moral values on another. Just because you believe a certin way does not mean the others must comply with your values. True enough I have seen some pretty suggestive things on here but I do not have the right to force my values on them by reporting them.

When I answer a question I try to do so with some kind of reference or guideline. My refereces may not agree with what you or others may think is appropriate but as a counclier I try to offer worthwhile though often controversial information.

yes, i did when I saw something up on here inappropriate. It's just a bunch of morons who think they are "cool" and they are probably about 15 or so! You could ignore it, but if it bothers you enough, report it.. don't put up with the BS. I don't. I believe if enough people report things about the same person, they will lose their privaledges. But I am sure they will get a new yahoo screen name.. so in reality, there is no way to stop them! Oh well! S*** Happens!

If it's just rude, I might ignore it. But if it's really something inappropriate for young people that might be on here to read, I'd report it in a heartbeat. I've seen some really vulgar things, and I've reported abuse on some of them.

How do you know that what they say is not truth is it bothering you that they might be right and you for once might be wrong! you all ask questions to get answers there are some that want to be cute and all like to be funny once in a whil but to trounce on their rights as an individual to be stupid then arent we setting a bad example. First amendment rights people you asked they answered!

Report him. They'll take it off if they agree it's abusive.
