How do you delete the pop ups which appear when you type in the http/ address bar?

    click on tools

    click on internet options

    click on 'delte history'

    click yes

    all done.

    The popups? Do you mean the drop down menu of all the previous address you have typed in?

    If so, then once you have opened your browser window if you click TOOLS then INTERNET OPTIONS, go to the tab CONTENT, and click on AUTO COMPLETE, you can deselect the box for WEB ADDRESSES, and then click CLEAR FORMS. Select OK, and that should clear the history of the address bar.

    Today a majority of sites use popups and popbehinds. To battle them you can use some "popup" killers and run a spyware check every couple days. Google toolbar has a popup blocker built in and you can find a varity of popup blockers and spyware checkers from freeware sites. http://www.download.com/ & http://www.tucows.com/ are a couple popular ones. Just type popup killer in the search.

    use a good popup blocker or use a good antivirus may b norton or mcafee with personal firewalls n all the blocking features.

    internet explorer for windows xp has a built-in pop-up blocker. go to TOOLS > POP-UP BLOCKER > TURN ON POP-UP BLOCKER

    there are pop-ups,pop-behinds,and pop-unders.put the pop-up blocker on the max level.
