Because the feel they have the answers, and want to justify their belief system or lack thereof. It is just good that they keep reading the questions, God can use anything to draw someone near, don't get offended or frustrated, blessings!

There are no internal firewalls on Yahoo Answers; any user can go anywhere on this board and ask or answer anything (that is, anything not threatening, obscene, or otherwise in violation of the guidelines). And who made you the arbiter of what makes a person "religious" or "spiritual" (whatever those terms are supposed to mean)?

I've been told more than once that atheism is a religion.

I'm here to proselytize and support my faith, same as everyone else.

God does not exist in fact.

Besides that, I seem to know more about the bible & bible based religions than the majority of people posting answers, so why shouldn't I share my vast knowledge?

Do you want people to remain ignorant or be misinformed?

Well, when the religious and spiritual people don't know the answer, somebody has to step in!

just beacause they dont have a religion and are asking questions doesnt mean they are trying to score points!! shame on you!! they are probably becomeing interested or curious about a certain religon and want to know more about it so they came confirm whether or not to become active in it!! (but you never know they could just be trying to score points!!)

Listening to everyone's point of view, and not condeming a person for having them, stops us from becoming narrow minded bigots.

You don't have to believe the opinions of others but you should always be open to them.

Because this isn't a category where only people with faith can answer. Its a category about religious and spiritual things. Everyone is welcome to share their ideas. Why don't you think about what they're saying instead of why they're saying it?

To answer a question with two more questions: who is qualified to judge another's spirituality?; isn't that beyond mortal purview?

If you are not an auto mechanic are you not allowed to diagnose your car problems?

If you are not a dentist, are you not allowed to pronounce a case of toothache?

If you are not Jesus, are you not allowed to discuss the nature of God?

not having a religion doesn't imply not having an opinion.
