Concrete Driveway Sealer: Can someone recommend a good one?
We have a looooong concrete driveway (about 1300 square feet) that was laid last November. We did not have time to seal it before cold weather set in. It is in good condition and we did not use salt on it, but now that it is warm again we would like to seal it, preferably with a "permanent" sealer that will strengthen it against the ravages of future winters and will allow us to use de-icers when necessary. Can anyone recommend a good product? I've seen a number of things on the internet that all say they are the best, but I'd like to hear from an unbiased source. Also, let me know of a good place to buy it. Thanks.
I'm hoping maybe someone new has come online who can help with this practical question...

The most cost effective way to sea your driveway is with a silane-siloxane water repellent. This type of sealer won't change the look or color of the concrete but it will stop concrete dusting and provide protection against stains, snow and ice. Perhaps one of the best benefits to using a silane siloxane is that it is long lasting and required little to no maintenance. Consider using a high solids formulation as it fills in the surface pores better than a low solids formulation would.

I'm not sure what is up with this questions and the "best answer". I too would recommend using the Foundation Armor product. Their SX5000 is DOT approved and higher solids than anywhere else.
