How long does it usually take to conceive after getting off the depo shot?

The depo shot is the worst when it comes to trying to conceive after using it. It can stall a womens cycle for up to 2.5 years after just 2 doses. Of course they don't tell you this at the time.

It took me 22 months to get pregnant after the shot ( I only ever had one dose as it made me so sick for the 3 month duration it lasted) wore off.

Good luck and know that you are better off with the pill instead.

It can take up to 18 months to get pregnant. The depo shot really messes with your hormones so if you are wanting to get pregnant soon I would go to the doc and see what they can do to get your cycle back on track!

It took me 9 months to get pregnant the average is 1 - 2 years. If you want another shot they will give you a pregnany test when you go in for another one anyway, so don't worry about it.

It depends how long you were on it. If you were on it for less than a year, it may not take very long. If you were on it for years...it can take up to 12-18 months.
