Why do men cheat and then turn around and tell you they love you? I?

Men often cheat and usually a little more than women it is about an 84% to 57% split. Men cheat for a lot of reasons. Opportunity and adventure the most pomenent today. That does not mean that the man doesn't love his significant other less but society makes him feel guilty about what he has done then a not forgiving significant other dumps on them.

Many years ago, men, married or not were permitted to have sex with anyone they wanted as long as the woman wasn't married. they usually had several wives, concubines,slave girls and prostitutes were readily available. Women on the other hand who were married could not have sex with anyone other than her husband...UNLESS he told her too or gave permission. If she refussed she would be in trouble.

If he has cheated on you, forgive him and go on with your life...never kick it in his face when you have a disagreement that will only lead to more problems and diviorce. Let him know that you love him and if he ever finds himself in that positition again to tell you first and get your permission. Of course that can work both ways...unconventual..yes in some ways but it does work and works well....and it can save a marriage. That thing is not at all specific to men because there are cheater-girls too, and they do the same as you said.

doing so proves the insufficient love, sex, or attention given to the man from the women. another reason might be that the man isn't really in love with the women.
