What's the best way to maintain a goatee lengh and shape if you don't have any trimmers to hand? And what is a decent length for a goatee?

Go easy on yourself and go to the barber shop let them trim up your goatee.

My husband uses a small pair of sharp scissors to trim and shape his facial hair and it looks great. As for a decent length, it's a personal thing but I think short and trim looks best.

Keep it as long as the rest of your facial hair is so that it blends in together. I use scissors or electric shaver to maintain my facial hair.
