Even though this current administartion has made several mistakes, the answer to your question is yes ! Just listen to both sides of every report that you see or here. Just one example is the retired generals speaking out against the war. How many interviews have you seen on the retired generals supporting the action ? On the WMD issue. Go back and listen to what our president said before the war. WMD's were one of many issues. The list goes on and on. The true possible demise of our president will be in the immigration issue and not the war. He needs to support a majority view and not a political view.

I know I feel better when I don't watch the news. The bottom line is, they are a T.V. show. If they didn't get good ratings, do you still think they would be there? How do they get good ratings? shock, scare tactics, reporting unbelievable things. Kind of sounds like reality TV or Jerry Springer. If they had some genuine reporting on facts and presented stuff right, instead of a lot of speculation, I might watch it more. I think sometimes they get their nose in the middle of stuff, and delay progress for a good story.

Of course. The media controls the American public like puppets on a string. If you control the media and you want something done or want people to think a specific way, you only report on the kinds of things you want people to see and leave out the rest.
For example, (C)ommunist (N)ews (N)etwork
They know that we're all too stupid and/or don't care enough to use our brains and look at things going on around us or do our own research, and that we'll accept everything we see on tv as pure truth with no exceptions.

Most news only report selectively what they want to report for their own agenda which mainly leans to the left (with some strongly: see CNN)
