Since you support Bush, you must support the war, maybe-maybe not? We'll how would you feel if your son or daughter wanted to join our Military? You might want to check the DOD roster before you answer this one. And by the way, ive had my owm loss in this war. ' So don't think im making light of this'

Bush is a puppet for the wolfowitz doctrine and other high profile secret societies. He is not for the people, he is for corporations, and making money for him and his cronies. Not helping any of use americans. Bush is a good puppet.

I would never let my son or daughter into the military unless I was prepared for the fact that they may not make it home safely. I look up to anyone that is willing to rsik their lives for the safety of me and my country. But I'm sorry, we know that the military is not safe and if you don't want to risk your life, you shouldn't go into the military. I understand that it is hard to lose someone and I'm sorry abotu that. But it's not like President Bush or anyone else for that matter was trying to hide the fact that you could be killed at war.

There are also people that just join the military for the benefits or for education. Then they are sent to war. You know, you take that risk if you want to join the army. You never know what can happen and you need to prepare for the worst.

You can't blame Bush for your loss. It's hard to lose someone, but fighting for our country is a big responsibility and not something to be taken lightly.

I'm going to support Bush and I'm going to support my country. I don't always agree with everything that is going on, it's nearly impossible to do so. But this is my country, I'm lucky to live here and be free, I'm not going to be the next problem my country has to face. WE have enough problems with the war and other countries, now is not the time to be against my country and it's government.

It is a very bad situation that we are losing people everyday because of the war. But unfortunately, that is a part of war and it cannot be changed. But I'm not going to blame the president for this, I need to support my country or move out of it. I'm proud to be an American, if I don't want to support the country and it's leaders, than I can move to a country well my lifestyle will not be as great as it is hear.

scott u summed it up very well in your first secntence. It should be influenced only by the people and their beliefs. That is probably the way it should be but instead good ol george dubbya gets to tell all the brave people that so blindly join the army thinking it will have a positive impact on society exactly where when and how to die for his own benefit and the benefit of all the rest of his nazi friends.... isnt that great? doesnt that just make you want to jump for joy?

****** on top of me.. i couldnt dissagree with u any more. They dont know what theyre getting themselves into AT ALL.. if they did they obviously wouldnt fight for his cause.

    guy below me:

What war? the war on "terrorism"? the only terrorists i see are the ones in control.

i guess i might as well just shut up though.. not like any of you people actually want to open your eyes to the real world...

Stop blaming Bush for your child dieing in the military, they knew what they were doing when they got in it. It's a shame they died, but it's not Bush's fault.

I'm assuming you were an anti-vietnam person? So you therefor must like communism right? No? Ya, that's what the war was trying to stop. Or maybe you would've liked Hitler to killed all the Jews, gypsies, black people? You can't have your cake and eat it too... War is ugly, but it has and always will be necessary.

How would I feel if my child died in Middle East? I would be glad they died an honorable death protecting our country and way of life.

The answer to the question, how would I feel? I would have mixed emotions, regardless of who the president is. I would be proud of my child for wanting to be a part of the military, but regardless of who is the leader of our country or what is going on at that time, there is always a chance of going to war.

The Military should be separate from politics. Military service is service to one's COUNTRY. You can argue the points of why the military is doing what the country's leaders are requiring, but you can't fault the troops for doing what they're told. Jane Fonda tried doing that in Viet Nam and it got her nowhere, and those ghosts are still haunting her today.

We have enough dead soldiers from this war already. That this war came about from lies makes it even worse.
