Sonata is way cheaper but you get better resale value for the Accord...I had a friend sell his and he PROFITED from it!

The Honda Accord - hands down. My mother has owned a Honda since the day I was born - a Prelude, two Civics, and three Accords - and they have all been great cars. (I am 24 years old now) The only reason we have ever got rid of one is because she wrecked it. Apparently, they are also safe cars - she is still alive - and she is one of the worst drivers I have ever seen. My Dad also owned only Hondas until the early 2000's, when he decided to try the Huyndai XG-300 (it was a X - something - 300). He bought it brand new - and it was back in the shop with a month, and about every month thereafter until he finally got rid of it. He traded it for a Honda Accord. In my opinion (and my parents, and my grandparents, who also only drive Honda's), Honda's are definately the way to go. They hold their value (unless you smack them into Southern Sun trucks, hills, or any thing else that will total a car), they are safe, and they will last forever. (My sister has the one Honda my mother didn't wreck. It has over 220,000 miles on it - and counting.)

Think about it there has to be a reason why hyundai offers a 10X100000 warr. The car is cheaply made with low grade steel that would not hold up in an acc. I know the hyundia is cheaper but think about the overall pitcher. You might want to consider the Subaru Legacy SE really nice car wich just won the top safety rating award even beat the honda

The Honda Accord is the better value by far. The car gets very good gas mileage also. I owned a Honda Civic about two years ago. I wish now I would have never sold it.
