It will take several years after peace is established in the region to rebuild all the refineries that Saddam destroyed in a few days.
As for the Alaskan reserve the tree hugers refuse to admit that it is a good idea to drill there.

I hope you're not talking about Iraq, because we did not take Iraqi oil by force. The Iraqi government still owns the oil, and the sale benefits the Iraqi people. That's why Iraqis don't have to pay taxes.
