I don't see the need for super delegates. The people vote their choice. We do not need a group of delegates to override or justify our choice in any way. Its past time to eliminate the super delegate and electoral system. There should be a loud public outcry against these systems. I know who I want to vote for as I'm sure everyone else does.

The whole thing is tragic. Prayer goes out to the miners and the families involved but, the media has constantly pushed Mr Murray. They've been argumentative and very condeming. These men chose to work in this mine. Mr Murray is an elderly man and he has reached the point of exhaustion yet he has been there through out the whole rescue /recovery operation.

The usa only opened iraq to more terrorists. they are coming out of the wood work now. When saddam reigned in Iraq his methods may have been harsh but it was no where near the blood bath it has become since the usa invaded the country. ok admittedly, saddam executed a lot of people perhaps, some of them was innocent but you have to respect the fact that he had three warring factions living in iraq. If he had allowed even one of those groups a little power it would have been as bad as it is now under the usa control.

How long are you expected to re-pay your debt to society? admittedly if you have did something that incurs fines etc. you should be made to pay and some crimes are so heinous that the rights should never be restored but how can you rehabilitate a prisoner, allow them to learn skills for a job and most companies will not hire them and there rights are not restored allowing them the right to vote in a so called free society. Many states do not restore these rights automatically (Florida being one of them) Georgia has a first time felon law whereas if its your first time in prison your record is sealed unless you commit more crimes. I'm interested in reading others views on this.

every other sentence out of a conservatives mouth refers to medicare and entitlement programs. The fact is medicare is for the elderly do they wish all elderly to die because they can't go to the hospital are receive treatments and/or medications they need? yet, we are spending billions of dollars on a war that never should have been started in the first place.

We need to get rid of the whole corrupt group that are presently in washington if you are republican vote for a new republican and if you are democrat vote for a new democrat. These represenatives have failed the citizens of the usa miserably and they deserve the boot. lets get rid of them and give someone else a chance.

suddenly we have so many patriots and they are quick to tell others that they are not patriotic yet, some of them have never served in the military. They support this illegal war wholeheartedly. why not raise the age then they could raise up out of the recliners and show some real patriotism!

some people can look farther than whats shown on fox and cnn and hear more than the spouting the bush administration does. I thought everyone was entitled to his/her own opinion but, the republicans get angry and ugly if you do not believe what their party and president is saying.

Iraq has a new Government and the people there are supposedly so proud of Bush and the USA for liberating them from saddam so why don't the bushes, chaney, rumsfield, rice and rove take a nice long vacation in the country they have help to free.

They should not be allowed to dodge hiding out in the air national guard or similiar sections of the military where they will not be frontline along with other americans' children. If the draft is began again no one should be exempt because he/she parent is a member of congress including the bush twins.

there was so much uncertainty in the last two elections. I've decided that its only important to vote in state and county elections. Is there anyone else whose belief in democracy has been totally destroyed by the handling of the last two presidential elections?

It seems Israel has no allies besides the usa perhaps. israel should work on mending some fences in the west and the usa should mind the wars it has going presently. whats your thoughts?

although the usa has set itsself up as keepers of the world peace the invasion of Iraq after convincing them to give up all weapons that they could have used to defend there country in the event of an invasion does not bode well for convincing other countries to give up its weapons. right or wrong you can understand why Iran would want to have the ability to defend itsself should a similar thing happen to them.

How many americans are willing to pick to pick tomatoes, and citrus fruit, pick up trash along our roadways, bale pine straw and the numerous other menial tasks the mexicans perform each day. Jobs that most americans feel they are too good for and who in america will work for the sometimes below minimum wages that the mexicans receive for doing these unwanted jobs. Each day they arrive en-masse and give a full days work for next to nothing in pay.

america is a country of immigrants. why should any country have the right to ban people from coming into it. I understand not wanting to be burdened with people who are ill equipped to be self supporting but, if an immigrant is able to prove that he/she can be self supporting there should be no barrier to them coming here
