    Cinema Paradiso (1989) is the movie that made me love foreign language films. Also Antonia's Line, Amelie and All About My Mother. Don't watch Life Is Beautiful. I hate movies about the Holocaust.

    Good choice woodstock... Motorcycle diaries in an awesome movie. I highly reccomend it. Also, Amelie, Life is Beautiful. FYI: Anything with Gael Garcia Bernal (Motorcycle Diaries) is excellent.

    Why?: They are all beautiful, sexy & funny.

    Europa, Europa, It changed my view on foreign subtitled movies when I saw it in the movie theatre. A great film.

    Rabbit Proof Fence (Australian (Drama), Like Water for Chocolate, The Madeline Sisters (its a shocker - you have to see it to believe it- based on a true story). Woman on Top.
