Why do people say evolution makes more sense than creation?

If a creationist says that God created the Earth an evolutionist will say where did God come from.

But in regards to the Big Bang theory where did the matter come from.

So if you look at it both belifes start of on the same foot.

Who would want to believe that they where evolved from bacteria anyway? Does your life have no meaning?

Because there is plenty of proven scientific evidence to back it up as opposed to ID which has faith and a book, nothing more.

This is a tired subject. Creationists never get the point that scientists study process, not reasons. I am a Christian who has no problem understanding the process of evolution.

    What was the Big Bang?

    Why did it happen?

What existed the moment before the universe came into existence?

Who wrote the laws of physics?

These questions are questions that can best be answered by religion. Scientists will never have answers for these things. Because there is no physical evidence to study.

In one place the Bible says that with God a thousand years is like one day. Why then do people keep assigning exact time calculations to the story of creation? Why do people have a problem with trying to understand the PROCESS by which God created life on Earth?

As to having humble origins, common ancestors with all other living things, get over it. We all grew from a squirt of semen and an ovum far up our mother's vagina. What could be humbler than that?

    Or more miraculous....

I've never yet heard an evolutionist say "Where did God come from?" The question is for an anthropologist or a theologian, not a natural scientist.

The question "where did matter come from" is an intriguing one, but the fact that we cannot satisfactorily answer it, scientifically, does not prove anything. An inability to prove something is an inability to prove something; it does not necessarily prove some alternate theory. It does not even prove that the thing you can't prove is not true; it may be true even though you do not have the evidence you need to prove it.

Who would want to believe that they were evolved from bacteria? Well, I'm not sure that's an accurate representation of evolution, but even so, I have no problem with the idea that my PHYSICAL nature evolved up from lower orders, which in turn evolved from lower orders, all the way back to bacteria. That's just the physical part. My life has plenty of meaning apart from its physical manifestation.

I agree that both beliefs start off on the the same foot. However, we did not just pop up out of nowhere. God's hand is behind everything which is why I support the theory of Intelligent Design. If you haven't heard about it Google it (or 'Yahoo' it ;)) but it basically says that the universe did evolve and so did we, but we evolved the way we did because of God. Albert Einstein once said that the deeper he got into studying science, the more he believed in a higher power. Even though people are too stubborn to see it, religion and science go together hand in hand, you just have to have the right view point. If you want more detail on how exactly they go together feel free to ask.

Evolutionists will never be able to produce proof, all they can provide is overwhelming evidence to support this theory. The matter from the big-bang was converted from energy which the first LAW of thermodynamics states energy cannot be created or destroyed. If it cannot be created, we do not need a creator ! Weather you believe we came from bacteria or not is up to you but DNA evidence would suggest we did. Astronomers are discovering old dying galaxies and new ones being born all the time. It's an ongoing thing, matter to energy then energy back to matter again.

If God is God, which He is, than He doesn't "have" to conform to human understanding. He just IS. However, the false theory of evolution disavows any possibly of God creating the earth, thus, there were things that apparently "came out of nowhere". God being God, He doesn't have to do what we expect or want Him to. He doesn't have to follow human logic. However, bacteria does. Bacteria is not a god. It is just a physical substance, that in truth was created BY God, but, according to evolution, was simply the mysteriously-appearing building block of life. On top of that, if evolution was true, why aren't apes still evolving today? Did Darwin actually see an ape evolve? No. They don't, and he didn't. He was simply one man angry at God for "letting" his daughter die, and trying to disown Him. No MAN can ever disown GOD in the long-term. Don't be deceived.

Not only are you bashing people unprovoked, you clearly aren't too familiar with the subject matter.

"But in regards to the Big Bang theory where did the matter come from."

You know, modern cosmological theory is quite fascinating. Look up on it. Furthermore, you cannot assert that because the answer to a question is currently not thoroughly understood, that the question is therefore inanswerable and requires an intercessor snapping his fingers.

"Who would want to believe that they where evolved from bacteria anyway?"

It shows how truly amazing this universe is. Your worldview is static, unchanging, simplistic, inelegant. Evolutionary perspectives are dynamic, elegant, beautifully interwoven.

"Does your life have no meaning?"

I fail to see how evolution immediately establishes nihilism.

I will pray that your mind be opened and that you can investigate the mysteries of God's creation with humble awe, not arrogant Bible-thumping.

It's called scientific evidence! What scientific evidence is there that some being created us?? Huh?? NONE. So before you go bashing somebody else's VALID beliefs, consider the fact that you have no common sense.

Knowing that we we evolved from bacteria does not make our lives less meaningful. What about the everyday things that we experience, such as love, etc.? Plus I it's amazing to think how much life has evolved. Maybe if you were open-minded and intelligent you would see the beauty in that too.

so which you're asserting that it makes extra experience that we are all inbred from the comparable 2 human beings, and that Adam and Eve had young infants, and the brother and sister have been having each and each others young infants? no longer merely does that no longer make experience, it incredibly is a annoying theory. Evolution no longer merely makes extra experience, yet hiya, it rather is have been given some medical info to back it up. in the journey that your extra comfortable believing a 2000 365 days previous e book as against some medical info, it incredibly is fantastic with me. P.S. Evolution does not say that we progressed from monkeys or apes.

The Big Bang theory has evidence to support it.

Evolution has universe to support it.

Creationism has a book to support it.

So does Harry Potter, but people aren't out there believing that they can fly and perform magic.

Our purpose is to survive and reproduce, for humans, advance mankind. Nothing more. Accept it.

And I know some idiot will say somthing about humans evolving from apes. Evolution states that humans and apes share a common ancestor, not that one evolved from another.

Evolution is of man, Creation is of God. You can evolute to your blue in the face, all of the scientific factors lead you right back to the same thing! Tell me something, where are the bones? Where are those missing links? They do not exist. Search for yourself. Research those alleged missing links that we have been led to believe exist. They are all fake, once again, man trying to prove there is no God. Life has no meaning when you think your just another animal. God did create everything! Find out for yourself. Research both and try to prove one wrong.
