Why does the Catholic Church make itself the supreme power?
I don't mean to offend anybody. But the ONLY HEAD OF THE CHURCH IS JESUS CHRIST not the Pope or even Mary herself.
Why would Jesus intrust a sinner with running the church.

Like God, the Catholic church is a man-made organisation. A powerful tool with which to guide (rule). As they ram their frightening take on religion down your throat of course many of the more gullible are going to accept it, they are scared witless, poor fools.

That is very much correct the head of the Catholic Church is Jesus Christ. Who left Peter the first "Pope" and his successors in charge of caring for His flock (the Church) until His return at the end of time. See John 21:17ff

Reflecting the thought of the church through the ages, the Catechism (#760) reminds us that Christians of the first centuries said, "The world was created for the sake of the Church." God created the world for the sake of communion with his divine life, a communion brought about by the "convocation" of men in Christ, and this "convocation" is the Church. Many people have problems with the Church quite simply because they do not understand its origins, its mission, or its end. The Catholic Church is not a mere human invention, like a political or social entity. The Church is of divine institution; Jesus Christ himself instituted the Church, not mere men after his Ascension (#763-766).

We do not believe that Mary or the Pope is the head of the Church. We DO believe that God is the head of the Church. However, before Jesus ascended into heaven, he entrusted his earthly kingdom to St. Peter, the first pope. In fact, the Pope is the lowest of all Catholics because he must serve all of God's people even more than you or me. That is also why all good popes pray to God to "take this cup away from" them.

The claim it was founded by Peter the ROCK.
I think Jesus was joking when he said that; Peter was just unreliable.
Their are five heads of the Church; Jerusalem, Antioch, Alexandria, Istanbul and Rome. I think Jerusalem is the Head as it was led by Jesus's brothers those that knew most about him - they were also practicing Jews.
Rome bashed Istanbul or Constantinople into submission. The other areas converted to Islam so had no significant congregations.

Like any world power it has to have a head. As far as bowing before him and kissing his... well...ring, I think you will only find that in his writings or catechisms. As far as Christ setting up the Catholic Church I think you got to look on the other side of the coin to see who they really represent. It's not to say that there aren't real christians there, some day God will call them out too.The Papal Sea had its reign for the 1260 days that the word of God gave it then its deadly wound was healed. The whole world will wonder after her as if they don't now.

The Catholic church was the beginning of religon as we know it. But like the Jewish religon, it too became corrupted shortly after the Apostles died.
Practices changed and are not today what they were when it all began.
Apostacy crept in with officials who had money and the power to change things. (they became bishops and cardinals etc.)
It's all in the laws of the church. They just don't let anyone read about it.
Being the false religon it now is, God will soon destroy it, and it appears that has already begun.

Because they don't believe that Jesus Christ Is The Head Of The Church!..It's not convenient for them to believe Jesus Christ is the Head of the church..if you know what I mean!

It doesn't. Like most (not all) religions, the Catholic Church recognizes Christ as the son of God ... and thus, worships Him. Every organized religion needs leaders, as does any organization at all. There is a heirarchy, but the Supreme Being (your term) is worshiped by all.

That is heresay my friend, people have been burn'nt and tortured for less, just listen I'm sick a this, the Catholic Church been insulted, by heathens, amount a times I've had people stepping up, bad mouthing my religon look, I'm an angry man, Jesus did'nt get angry, because he was divine, but I can so just F--K YOU, okay....

It doesn't. The people who follow the Catholic Church (many blindly in my opinion) give it that power. These same people apparently accept the fact that the Church has avoided accountability for priests who molest kids too.
