Did Jesus really look like an Aryan poster child, you think?

Update:

How long do you think skin that white would have lasted in the Judean sun? Especially before the invention of SPF 100 sunscreen ...

Update 2:

You wonder how the Romans would have had to ask which one he was in a crowd of dark-eyed, dark-haired, dark-skinned men, if Jesus looked more like a Hitler Youth.

he probably looked Jewish, since he was Jewish. He was also probablly very tan, because of the climate he lived in.

First off, what is "Jewish looking"? What a bigoted thing to say...

Second, the Bible says Jesus (SAW), as the messiah, had feet like burnished brass and hair like wool.

Third, the people of the Book (Jews) come from all over the Middle Eastern diaspora. But because he is a descendant of Musa (SAW), I tend to believe he was very dark of skin.

No. He would have been dark skinned just like everyone else from that part of the world. I don't think He would have looked like a sissy either, with long wavy locks. We only have pictures from an artists point of view.

It's a shame that we do not have any images of Jesus. Jesus was certainly Jewish, and most likely either medium like from Mexico or darker skin like in Pakistan.

It must be tough being Jesus... so much misunderstanding.

Jesus was made to look white to appeal to what was then a white majority.

With Blacks being slaves and their status as lower beings, why would the whites at the time worship a tanned prophet?

People were shallow then, and we still are now.

No. Ignorant (or perhaps influenced?) Renaissance painters thought he did. Jesus was Jewish/Middle Eastern in skin tone.

Nobody really knows what Jesus looks like, except that he created us in his image.
