Depends on the flattness of the belly. Women have a tendancy to get a "pooch" as they age. A belly button ring or a tattoo will look skanky. I wanted to get one, but after talking to people who got them, I changed my mind pretty quick. Plus, it hurts to get it done!

It depends on your personal style and how you carry yourself. Just like a mini skirt looks skanky on some women and sexy on others.

you have to have the belly to pull it off, but personnely i think it is very sexy a belly ring with a tattoo near it

It seems cool at the time. But my daughter had one and didn't want it anymore when she was 22 and took it out and now she has a hole there. It isn't pretty and she doesn't like it.
