People have a hard time accepting Christ because , The devil has them blinded. They are too busy for God. When things are going there way, they think they have it all. We as Christians need to go out more telling the world about Jesus. I have great peace inside of me since He saved me. I thank Him for His wonderful Blessing. All we can to is Pray for them.

Why am I having a hard time accepting Christ?

Because all around the world I see death, illness, pain and suffering, poverty, abuse, neglect, hate, greed and apathy. If I ask why God allows this, I am told that is because we have free-will, that it is a test, that God moves in mysterious ways, that God allows pain because it is part of His plan.

I'm sorry - and I do not mean to offend anyone's beliefs - but I just don't see how that works. I know that people will say that I shouldn't just look at the bad things, that there are plenty of good things that God has done - but really, as a human, shouldn't we be more concerned about eliminating the bad stuff?

It might sound like I'm angry - i'm truly not - but you asked why and you got a heartfelt (but maybe not 100% rational in others opinion) response.

I BEING A MUSLIM ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST. PEACE BE UPON HIM.

Do you know that Islam is the only non-Christian faith, which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (pbuh). No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh).

We believe that Jesus was one of the mightiest Messengers of Allah (swt). We believe that he was born miraculously, without any male intervention. We believe he was the Messiah translated Christ (pbuh). We believe that he gave life to the dead with God’s permission. We believe that he healed those born blind, and the lepers with God’s permission. We believe that he was the "Word from God". We believe in his second coming as well.

Quran shows positive image of Jesus pbuh, that his coming into the world was miraculous, his deeds upon the world were spectacular, his exit from the world was mysterious, and his second coming will be awesome.

BUT WE DO NOT BELIEVE THAT HE IS GOD ALMIGHTY. We believe that he is the messenger of God almighty.

QURAN (5:75) "Christ the son of Mary was no more than an Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!"

Quran says in chapter 3, verse 59

"The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was."

Because some people prefer to live in the present, instead of the past. The past is history, and the present is a gift, after all.

Why is your book the right one? because your parents read it? because you "feel" it? because the book says so? because it says the things you would like to hear?

Do you really have faith in Christ? Or is it faith in mans ability to collect, write, rewrite, translate and pass on a book for over 1600 years?

    - man can't even get my order right at the McDonalds drive through window.

<---Spiritual atheist. I like some of Jesus' teachings, but cannot accept him as my savior because I cannot "force" myself to believe in something that I strongly feel does not exist ("god" or godhood).

Even if I was theist, I may not want to accept Jesus as my savior---but would still have some of his teachings to my spirituality. Just no "savior" for me. Cuz I believe only I can save my own soul, not anyone else.

some people don't feel the same way.

it might also have to do with the fact Christianity condemns anyone that dose not accept Jesus some people believe it or not resent that.

Who wants to give up their sin? Who wants to admit they are doing wrong? Being blinded by your sin will keep you from wanting to know Christ.

Pray for those who do not know Christ.

We are all individuals and are entitled to our own beliefs. You should be proud of your religion and beliefs whilst trying to understand others and never push your beliefs on them either.

That may be so, but you may be a bit prone to believing in things that really are not true.

Its been said before but I will say it as well: What works for one, doesnt always work for others.
