Missouri Has the Best Cost of Living and would be nice, I'm told the weather is modest..however Washington State has the Highest Minimum Wage and they have it good there with your option of Ocean, Mountain, etc and a wide varity of job Markets.

If I could live anywhere in the USA I wanted to, it would be in Florida. I would like to meet a nice, single woman that lives there, and move down near her. I love the weather(except hurricanes), it's warmer than NC, and I love the beauty of the landscape. To me, Florida is nearly Paradise.

Deep south Texas. The weather is wonderful, the people are diverse yet caring and friendly. I live on the Rio Grande River, with my wife and our little dog Sparkie. After traveling for 30+ years I think I've found heaven on Earth. Why do you ask?

I would go to Jackman, Maine (northwest mountain area on the Quebec border) and find the land my great great grandparents owned and build myself a log cabin and enjoy the nature around me. I would love to live where my ancestors had their first roots in this country (my great great grandfather was an English Immigrant and his wife an Irish Immigrant).

Greenwich Connecticut, no doubt, one of the lowest crime rates, beatiful views and houses, and less than 35 minutes away from the greatest *city* in the world, New York
