How do you get rid of woodchucks?

Just use a .22 short with a baby bottle nipple over the end of the barrel. Your neighbors will never even hear it and the little fellows will be dead if your a good shot. If thats not a good answer just use a BB gun.

Bait it with apples.

They can get viscious when threatened though. You might want to call an authorized "nuisance animal" removal person. They have the expertise to do the job correctly and in a timely fashion. Besides, where I live it's illegal to relocate a wild animal and the fines can be quite hefty.

Ask the local DNR office (if you're in the US, that is) and they can tell you who's on the list.

better to put out poison than try to trap them.they re too smart for traps.get your old 22 rifle and sit 40 yards away and pick them off one at a time then stuff a dead animal inside teir den and in a few days they will go to your neighbors.trained dogs from killing chickens that way, take a chicken and let the dog wear it till it decays from his neck and that changes a dogs perspective on chicken killing. the decays animal in their den will decay and they have to leave because of the funky smell

I have a friend with a labrador retreiver, and he is the woochuck king! Get you one and see if that works. If not, my hubby says shoot them!

My hubby uses pb&j sandwiches in our live traps for coons. Don't know if they like them too or not.

Take away all their "wooden" play toys and offer them ROVERS rubber chew toys, They'll soon tire of them, and of ROVER.

.22 Magnum always does the trick, then leave the body there to rot ... that will run the rest away.

Try peanut butter, or maybe an apple or lettuce.
