Tom Cruise's Star has Dimmed...Why do you think that is?

He talks too much about stuff he knows nothing about. He speaks as if he is an expert on certain subjects, when he isn't. He is a star...we made him and we can break him. He seems to forget about that part.

Can you tell i'm not a fan?

I believe that tom's star has dimmed from over exposure in the media. I can recall when we saw very few of mr. cruise and because of that limited exposure it prolnged his fame and even matured. With his over exposure in the medis currently it has given insight into what his life is really like. I think people can really care less about the scientology religion which he is the poster child of. Ultimatly it has dimmed but will never diminish. Tom is staple of the motion picture world.

I think it is because his religious choice of being a "Scientologist" became very public. Plus the fact that he is having a baby out of weddlock my be a bit shocking to some convervative fans. Also his past comments to "Brooke Shields" whom suffered from severe post partum depression, where not nice. I guess when you add all these things up, it's not really surprising that his star has dimmed somewhat.

Tom Cruise star has dimmed because he has annoyed the hell out of everyone! He is in the news almost everyday and now that his brainwashed wife to be has had their baby they are really needed to be in the news anymore! Plus I think Angelina has stole his thunder because now we are all waiting for her to give birth to her very expected child.

His star will never dim. He'll still rake in the bucks at the box office. He'll still be getting $25 mil per film when he's 70.

I DO firmly believe he is a kook. But he's still a heck of an actor. See MI3 - it's great!

Over-exposure

yeah he has definitely gotten weird over the past couple of years...i love Katie Holmes but man Tom Cruise is just whack...with all of that scientology crap...i definitely believe that has something to do with it

He's definitely not the man he used too be.He's completely gone overboard on his religion. Let's face it sooner or later they all lose their movie star fame. He thinks he can do no wrong and that fans will let him get away with anything.His rise to fame has gone to his head.

Dude is turning into a wacko jacko like Michael Jackson!

Because of the whole " Tomkat" thing. He just let go, and now, people are mourning is acting death. It's a shame, because he was actually pretty good.
