To a person living in Wales. When was the first time that houses had electricity?

Also I wanted to know when they first had television. Thankyou I'm writing a book and I need the information.

    Hi,

    I don't know with any certainty which town came first and when!

    However, three places stick out as likely candidates - Cardiff and Swansea as cities and Merthyr Tydfil as the main industrial powerhouse of the victorian era.
