What's the most overrated song(s) you know of?

In my opinion I think RnB, Hip Hop and Rap in general are way overrated. But unfortunately that seems to be all you can see on tv and hear on radios these days. To these genres have nothing to do anymore with the initial idea of making music.

LOL.....What's not overrated nowadays.... I think that anything by boy bands or pop girls...i.e. Britney, Christina, Hillary...is WAY overrated. Hip hop/Rap...this useless form of expression that has disguised itself as a music form for WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY too long is overrated. I think that those music forms in general are overrated. But most songs that are recorded in these genres are overrated. But if you're talking about SONGS....then it's gotta be Stairway To Heaven...or YMCA (Billboard Top 10 1979) and even though they were great whgen they came out (1971, and 1979, respectively) and both bands (Zep and the VP) had sizable winners with them......they are played out til you can't play them out anymore...

My Humps is so retarded but in my opinion rap is the worst music ever put out on the market. There is no rap song who's lyrics was thought out or original they all say the same thing. So Rap is sh*t!!!

As much as it pains me to admit, the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album is pants. So is the new single. Very commercial and a bit lame. Most of the tracks all sound the same.

I am a huge Chili's fan and I am very disappointed.

Right now, I would think that it would be "Had A Bad Day" by Daniel Powter. I MIGHT have liked the song if I didn't have to hear it every single time a contestant gets voted off American Idol......

any music on commercial radio or mtv is all hype. Very few times will you see or hear a song that is actually good but will learn to hate it because of "overkill" and saturation.

"I Will Go On" from Titanic. It was a nice song for about the first 43 times that I had hear it, but then everytime the radio was on.... IT was on. I finally had to curtail all radio use to avoid puking!!!!!

Just about any song on the radio right now. They are all over-rated. There are a few good songs, but most are just cookie-cutter crap.
