Hi all, just got ourselves recorded live at a gig we played at the Boardwalk Sheffield and was wondering if I cud get sum feedback on the songs as we're heading to the studio to record early next year?

As said, they're live tracks played in front of a crowd so the odd mistake or two in there as we tend to dance about on stage n sumtimes and go off on one (as u can prob hear, the ending for "Dirty Lovin" was just an end of set jam we had :) ) , but they captur the vibe so any feedback wud be great.

Hi all, recorded some rough demos with my current band (as our drummer refused to go into a studio ecause he thought he could do as good a job himself with a home recording kit) and they're not the greatest by any means.

Apart from the fact that we aren't very tight due to the timing of the recordings (done straight after a months break) I'm wanting as much feedback as possible on them so I can inform our drummer + the other lads what people think of them (be it good or bad).

So i'd appriciate peoples feedback so I can relay it back to the lads. - So critisise away on whatever you want! (production, musicianship, the songs themselves etc. etc.).

Had a load of hassle getting footage of my bands latest gigs uploaded onto PC so looking for an affordable camcorder or whatever that we can use for gigs that will also get a decent sound quality. Any recomendations pls?

Right, I'm getting well p'd off with this console, trust Bill Gates to invent one that's more glitches than a PC. I've recently been unable to finish Far Cry 2 because of a loading problem, and now I've bought Condemned 2 and had a similar issue with my saved game disappearing.

Can someone please warn me of any other games i should avoid with bugs like these?

Also, is the PS3 or Wii like this coz I rek it may be time to swap?

Got a Samsung e840, n I hate it, unreliable, illogical and allround crap. I used to have the old Nokia 6230 and thought it was great phone. Can anyone recommend me something as reliable and easy to use but more modern please?

worth joining do you think?

We are looking to get an EP done that is of a high enough quality for radio airplay, but won;t cost the earth as only myself is in full-time work out of the band. Any recomendations pls?

Recently we've parted ways with our rhythm guitarist, n a couple of the members r finding they are missing something when I play solos or at certain sections of songs that require just lead playing. Any tips on equipment or settings to help us fill the sound out?

I use a DD6 delay pedal at times, n play Hendrix-style rhythm when poss (bass notes held while picking the trebble strings), but am lookin for anythin else that may help us out pls?

Just wondering if anybody out there uses them much and can recommend any? Quality of goods + variety of options (different style tops, different colours + designs etc.) would be a major consideration + UK based one's would be a bonus, but not essential.

Hi, I've played guitar for some time now and would like a new challenge + to broaden my musical understanding.

I'm into rock music (GnR, Led Zep, Pink Floyd etc.) so I'd be looking to learn either drums, bass or piano/keyboard. Can those in the know list me their opinions on which to go for and why + their pros n cons?

Having seen his world-cup squad n the likes of Jenas and Walcott goimg, yet Darren Bent etc. missing out is he drunk?

Rooney won't play, Owen's gonna be next to useless with his lack of fitness which leaves Crouch n Walcott our only reconised forwards. Is Sven taking the piss?

I was just wondering if any of you could suggest a routine for learning songs the quickest and most memorable way on the guitar?

I practice a lot but feel like my time could be organised better and struggle to remember certain parts of songs.

Any advice would be much appriciated.

I don't mind them, but they 'aint my fave either. However, I do kind of agree what John Lydon (lead singer of the Sex Pistols for those not sure) says:

He said: "Don't try and tell me Green Day are punk. They're not, they're plonk and they're bandwagoning on something they didn't come up with themselves. I think they are phony."

He added on the subject of the Sex Pistols battle with the establishment: "The government's against you, the police are on you. So there we are fending off all that and it pisses me off that years later a **** outfit like Green Day hop in and nick all that and attach it to themselves.”

I mean, punk was about young out of work English lads who wanted to destroy everything and was totally anti-establishment. When the Pistols toured America loads of places hated em - so how can greenday call itself punk?

I've just seen a post by Amberlou baby n a similar post by a guy after a woman. It just made me think - why?

Don't get me wrong, we all have urges and what not, but I don't think I've ever sat round thinking "oh I need a woman in my life".

I get up, go to work, go for a pint with my mates, jam with my band (when I'm in one) n if I meet someone I like n things go well we get it on. If things progress fine, if not never mind. But why do people long for someone else in their lives?
