Do you prefer to watch movies at home or in the theater?

At home because it's cheaper, more comfortable and if I have to go to the bathroom I can pause it.

At home. If I need to get up for something I can pause it and not miss anything. There are No 20 foot tall people with big hair to sit in front of me. No one kicking the back of my seat. No face full of other peoples ASP when they get up for the 20th time because they need more salt for there damn popcorn and didn't think about it before they came into the theater. What I pay for one box of popcorn a coke and some good and plenty at the theater I can feed a whole starving nation with at home and don't have to take a second mortgage out on my house to do it. No screaming kids. No over perfumed or cologne people sitting next to you or ones that have never taken a bath before or have heard of soap. No hacking coughs, no screaming babies my furniture is not sticky with god knows what was spilled on them. I can invite a bunch of friends over to watch it with me at no additional charge and I can even eat a good dinner if I want while watching the flick.

I'd rather watch movies @ home. The theater is to loud and cold. U R more comfortable @ your own home. I wish that new releases came out on pay per view.

The theater is fun but..I kinda like watching at home better, that way if I get bored with the movie I can just "play" with my hunny instead!

theater because the movie looks so much better on the big screen yet who can afford the high prices. They just keep going up - Cheaper to rent and you don't have to listen to people talking. Both have their ups and downs

Watching movies on the big screen with a lot of people around makes it a lot of fun, especially when you are watching a comedy. Unfortunately most movie theatres around here arent too comfortable. The thing is: if you wanna see the newer movies you're gonna have to go to the cinema.

They don't show too many independent or foreign films in my town. If they did, I'd say I prefer to go to the movies. As it stands, I'd rather watch at home.

It depends. If I'd rather see something with a girl, I'd go the a theatre, because it's dark and private. If I wanted to watch a movie with my family, I wouldn't wanna take them to a movie theatre. It'd just be a little weird.

Plus, my county in 98% white, so there's virtually no interruption, besides cheesy laughing at bad jokes. =P

In theaters only, because nothing can beat the dark room coupled with dolby digital sound effects.
