How much can a day trader make in a good week?

I'm sure it depends on how much you're investing, so say you start out with whatever an average starting amount is.

Well, the old addage is true...it takes money to make money. The more you have to invest, the more you can make. I've made $30K in one day based on one buy of $100K worth of the stock.

    One word: RESEARCH

Remember, the more you invest, the more you can LOSE too!!!

The minimum by Law to daytrade is just $25,000.00 and you will get by Law a $100,000.00 Credit Line (It's called Margin)

Asuming you make just $1,000.00 on each daytrade (1%) and asuming he just daytrades one time every day from monday to friday. (International Daytraders trade 7 days a week) he would make $5,000.00 in a good week.

Over time he will have $50,000.00 and then he can daytrade 2 times every day (Asuming the same $100,000.00 per daytrade)

And that will double their money to $10,000.00 per week and then $20,000 per week and then $40,000 per week and so on.

Asuming he limits the risk to 2.5% ($2,500.00) he would have to be wrong 10 times in a roll to lose all his money.

Over time he will increase his risk to 5% ($5,000.00) and finally 10% ($10,000.00)

Most daytraders do not go beyond the 10% mark.

As you can see it's very easy to lose all your money (You only have to be wrong 10 times in a roll) which in the worst case scenario it would mean you lose all your money after just 2 weeks.

On the other hand, if you survive without mistakes long enough then you eventually make millions each year.

Most amateur daytraders lose all their money in less than a year.

I have been daytrading for over a decade. (I now have daytraders working for me and my customers)
