Tattoos on the lower back tend to hurt more during the process because there is less fat on the lower back. It feels like a lot of needles piercing your skin, but it's probably not as bad as you may be imagining. The pain subsides within a day. You can put ice on the area to help it feel better. Try to remain relaxed so that your muscles won't tense up and ache later.

Wow! A tattoo what a great idea, especially on the small of your back. I have never seen anybody do that before. I applaud you for your originality, maybe you can get a dolphin. I think you should also go out and buy a beautiful new car and put a stupid bumper sticker on it, oh wait! you are going to do that to yourself.

tatoos sting and hurt reall bad! they bleed..but after like a week..the pain will be gone..its not that bad if u r good with taking care of it ..the tatoo artist will tell u how to take care of it..as long as u can take some pain for a beautiful tatoo..ull survive!

tats hurt. not going to lie. but in all honesty, the pain turns into little more than an annoyance after about 30 seconds. for me it felt kind of like angry fire ants. but again, after about 30 seconds, it became more like a burning itch. it's tolerable.

the only thing i can think of is actually a needle going in and out of your skin really fast, it does hurt but after a few minutes you actually go numb a bit its not that bad

depend`s where you get it done. there is more pain involved when the needle is close to the bone
