using mint flowers and mixing it with different herbs, fruit peels, alcohol or water will make it greater powerful. Mint on my own will only repel some varieties of bugs yet combining distinctive mixture of things will repel a much bigger variety of bugs. Examples to comprise: Bay Leaves (it relatively is a organic pest administration for roaches, fleas and ants) Garlic, Lemon & Orange peels, Citronella grasses, Cayenne pepper, Cloves, etc. etc. etc.

try worm-wood its pretty but if you don't trim it every 6 months it turns in to a tree but it only grows up so if you want it to be tall it can be and it wont kill you other plants and it gits rid of bugs that eat plant plus is you have a dog or a cat it gits rid of flees and ticks

Tansy maybe? Or pennyroyal- though pennyroyal gets weedish and takes over... Course, there's lots of different plants that repel different things.
