If humanity was to see their own destruction as a whole, do you think it would make a difference to today ?

    Maybe, for the majority of us. But there are always some people who just don't care and want what they want when they want it regardless of how destructive it is. It would be nice if more people thought like you though. <3 :)

    It depends on how the destruction came about - if we were destroyed a hundred billion years in the future when nthe sun expands to destroy the earth then probably not, if humanity ends next thursday because someone accidentally starts world war three by farting at an ambassador's birthday party then steps would be taken to avoid this.

    Yes. If the destruction is coming from works of the human race, steps may be taken to at least delay the inevitable. If it comes from something beyond our control, and if it will happen in our lifetime, we might as well live each day as if it were our last, and savour life while it lasts.

    Probably, but the fact is we already can see our own destruction. Yet we carry on carrying on.

    No. No one would know how to back things up. It's easy to go with a strong current rather than backtrack.
