Yahoo Messanger 7.5, Login Problem ...?

Question

When I try to login my messanger, I recieve a 'Sign-in Problem' message.

It says 'There was a problem signing into Yahoo! Messanger...', and nothing else!

I'm sure my username and password are true. Because I use those to sign into yahoo mail without any problem.

I have this problem for about two weeks.
What should I do?!

Ya i know that's all we use DSL and i have experienced about Yahoo Messenger 7.5 my normal job is in a cafe so i have to solve customers problems i think Yahoo! Messenger 7.5 is made at wrong protocol on DSL it's take too much time to login instead of Yahoo Messenger 7.0 is faster i suggest you to use 7.0 Messenger may it will solve your problem

If you use Yahoo! DSL, then it might help to type in the email address and the password instead of username.  If it's Yahoo! SBC, same.

It might also be that the internet connection is bad.  It would happen if you use wireless connection, otherwise, this is not a problem.

Another problem might be that the password is changed.  To make sure go to Yahoo! Mail (since you said there is not problem getting on Yahoo! Mail) and click on your username at the top of the screen and then it will ask you to type in the password and do so, then click Change Password in the first section and change it.

For others, it might be Tillian Messenger that might be causing some problems.

For me, when that happens, I try restarting the computer and it usually helps but other times, i just reset my password or do anyother solutions.
