Yes immigrants are vital to every country. They bring good work ethics and sometimes even new scientific ideas. But they should come legally. If you asked the questions are you for legal immigration I am sure people would be for it. Most people against illegal immigration to the US are not racist, )not that you implied that)they just want to see politicians listen to them, and know that the laws are being enforced.
Legal immigrants are great.

Immigration to Australia was very necessary back in the 40's and 50's. They helped make the country what it is today and they brought their culture and food which has influenced us greatly, in a good way. Now immigration is more to lessen the average weekly pay packet and destroy our society as a whole.

legal immigration is important to the survival of any country, illegal immigration is a security threat to every nation. I support immigration that goes through channels and I support making channels more immigrant friendly.
But I stand firm on punishment for illegal activities of all types. Amnesty rewards illegal behavior and busing them back to the border offers 0 deterrent.
