Christ died for our sins?

Did Christ really die for all future sins, or did he simple die to forgive all past sins of those who did not fully know of God, and now it is your responcibility to life you life as Jesus showed us, a life of peace and love.

Just looking for other opinions on this let me know guys, if you have an exact quote to answer this then please, educate me on it.

Christ died to cover all sin past, present and future. That doesn't give you a license to sin though. If you love God and have truly been "born again" then you will find all sin as offensive once you see it as sin. Once a person who is "born again" realizes that they have sinned they have a conviction burning inside of themselves to ask for forgiveness, and to permanently separate themselves from the sin forever. I would say that all of us struggle with sin but some of us have chosen not to fight it and instead just simply give in to it. I think that is the difference also in someone who loves God (the one that struggles and hates the sin) and someone who just wants to get to heaven (the one that seeks forgiveness knowing that they will in the future seek out to do the same sin again and again). I don't want to go to heaven just for the sake of going to heaven. I want to go to heaven to be with the One that my heart desires. I want to know God as I am known and see His face. The only way that I can see His face is to hate sin in the way that He hates sin.

According to Islam, Jesus (Isa in Arabic) never was crucified. He was not killed on the cross. I'm not imposing any ideas on you, just another perspective...

Do you really think God the All Mighty would have some evil-doers kill a beloved Prophet, Messenger of God? God gave him and all prophets dignity and dying in such a way is nothing but that.

So, now your wondering, who was it on the cross then? Again, according to Islam, I believe it was before being nailed to the cross, God raised Jesus' soul up to heaven and replaced it with that of another soul. God can do anything he wills. However, every soul on earth has to taste death. So, after the anti-Christ (or Dajjal in Arabic) will appear, Jesus (or Isa) will be resurrected and descend down from heaven in Palestine. This will thus begin the final and greatest battle against the evil Dajjal. There will be more but I need to refreshen my knowledge before I type it here.

So, to your question, I don't believe Jesus died for our sins. We are responsible for our own actions. The prophets can only spread the word of God to the world but not died in our name and sins. We will be held accountable for our own actions on the Day of Judgement. If we pass the ultimate test, then we receive the great news of entering Heaven. If not, you know what happens, God forbid...

Here's another thing, a little off topic but I thought I would still add it....

In Islam, it is believed that Jesus was not the son of God. God has not sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, or any other partner. He is the Greatest and most exalted. He can do anything he wills, as stated before. The virgin Mary (or Maryam in Arabic) gave birth to Jesus with being just that, a virgin. If God wills, he can say the simple word, "Be!" and it will happen. How did God become a father? Jesus was born with a mother but not a father. Jesus is, therefore, not God or Lord. He is the prophet and messenger of God, period.

Christ may or may not have existed.

Either way he didn't die "for our sins".

If he was truly divine, then how does dying accomplish anything? If he created the universe then he made up the rules.

What has getting nailed to a tree got to do with anything?

Christianity is not about Christ or forgiveness; its a media revolving around people and people's believes. thats why there are so many sects, because people like to make the rules.
