what are health insurance options for foreigners in the US?
Wife is not a US citizen, has no ability to get SS number. Is in US temporarily and needs Health Insurance coverage. Maybe some sort of traveller's insurance?

A non-US citizen can get a regular insurance policy here in Florida as long as they have been a resident for one year. No ss# is now required. Has she been here one year? The insurance company will require proof such as a utility bill, bank statement etc. If she has been here in the US less than one year she will need travel insurance. See some websites below.

I've lived here all my life. I was born here and can't afford health care or any other kind of insurance. When you get the answer let me know. I have a girlfriend in the Philippines too. If I get her over here she will need something for when she has my kids.

If you're low income, apply for medicaid.
She can always go to the emergency room--they are required by law to see and treat people who go--regardless of ability to pay
