    their earlier stuff was better than the later stuff

    one of the best 10 books ever written

    also it has a lot of mistakes (historical and theological) but i still appreciate dante's beautiful mind

    I think you shouldn't drink the water back then, people were extremely bored, or drunk, and the type of intellectuals they had back then are pretty much the type we have today. Also - I think it is neither.

    It is good ,but i have a coviction that it is based on some real Islamic events.

    read it in high school and it was boring and twisted then, i'm sure it's the same now
