    Jordan2285,

Try to look up "Sobibor." Sobibor was a Nazi Death Camp on the Eastern edges of Poland by the Russian Border.

You may be familiar with the "Treblinka" Death Camp but there was another concentration camp by the Polish Russian border; I however cannot remember the name of the other camp.

In October of 1943, Sobibor had a working Jewish residency of approximately 600 or more prisoners. The people that were sent to Sobibor would be instantly gassed and burned. The 600 or more prisoner residents of Sobibor are the only group under Nazi control who all escaped from the camp.

Of the 600 only 300 survived the escape and several of the original group may still be alive today.

This is a great story of which not many of us are familiar with or had heard of before.

I am sure that any composition containing elaborate presentation concerning this topic would get you a very good grade. Jose

Source(s): Many are the facts of which many of us are innocent of; however, in our search for truth and knowledge for social internal repair is our most valuable literary tool along our Life's Drifts. Jose

Wow, Schools over for us, and we previously learned about the holocaust, You should Read about Eliezer Wiesel On the internet. He wrote a book Called Night, he was a jew during the holocaust and his books tell alot I will Leave some links in the Sources.

Make sure you tell about ALL the groups died in the holocaust, like homosexuals, and how they sterilized 'imperfect' people, talk about the Ghettos aswell, also Tell about Oskar Schindler. Remember, 10 Million people died, and 6 million were jews. I hope I helped.

You could keep your head in the same place as Charlies. Or choose to not ignore the facts and realize it was an actual event. Much historical evidence exists. Do what the ones who answered you reasonably suggested and then you could always do the essay on why there are those that believe and why there are some that refuse to acknowledge this horrific event.

    *How many people died

*That it wasn't just Jews who were the victims

    *Names of death camps

    *Locations of death camps

    *Causes of death

*What date the holocaust officially ended (when people were liberated from the death camps)

*The fact that some people who were alive when the holocaust ended, died anyway (sometimes because they were so hungry that they ate too fast for their stomachs which had shrunk and died accidentally)

    *Information on the mass graves

*Details of some survivors and how they survived

*What sort of work the people were forced to do in the death/"work" camps (i.e. burying their fellow dead in mass graves, or digging their own mass graves)

All you need to do is search holocaust in Google, and you will find millions of sites. There's so much information on it, that it definetely occurred and those who have told you it doesn't are simply ignorant and uneducated. Goodluck with your exam, you'll find heaps of information.

Read about the medical experiments in Rise and Fall of the Third Reich. They were really gruesome, especially making lampshades out of the tattooed skins of their victims.

Check out Oprah Winfrey's website. Her shows on Wed. &

Thurs. were all about it. (And, they were excellent)

The answer below me is perfect. The guy who wrote Night was

in Auschwitz untill he was 15. He was Oprah's guest in

    Poland.

And about the deaths - one and half million were children.
