What is a good bet for the world cup?

A good way of winning money on the World Cup is to not bet on the outright winners, like everyone else does.

I am betting on the winners of the groups this time, which you can get decent odds for. If Sweden win their group (i.e. by beating England) you can double your money at 2/1. Another interesting one is Ukraine to top Spain's group.

I think Italy have a good chance with a solid defence, quality creative players like Totti and Pirlo and goalscorers Gilardino and Luca Toni. England will also be contenders, if Gerrard, Owen, Beckham, Lampard and Joe Cole are at their best; the defence is definitely one of the best in the world, so if the midfielders and strikers are on form, they'll go a long way. So my two tips are Italy and then England.
