If the 16th Amendment wasn't properly ratified, what should we do about it today?

The authority of the federal government to collect its income tax depends upon the 16th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, the federal income tax amendment, which was allegedly ratified in 1913. After a year of extensive research, Bill Benson discovered that the 16th Amendment was not ratified by the required 3/4 of the states, but nevertheless Secretary of State Philander Knox fraudulently announced ratification.

Ok, so this is true, but somehow no legitimate media outlet ever broke the story. It took some web site no one ever heard of to bring this to our attention.

It's amazing how ridiculous some people can be.

Did you notice he's asking for money to help fight the government in this matter? Hmmmm. No thanks, Bill. I'll keep paying my taxes. I hate paying them the same as everyone else, but I do like the services they provide.

Read this. It gives a little of the history of the controversy about the 16th Amendment and the decisions of the courts throughout the years.

Ok, I'll bite, why don't you and Bill go on 20/20 or Fox News or one of the Big 3 Networks and let everyone know what you have discovered. I'm sure everyone would like to hear about this GOOD NEWS.

Has it ever been tested. I assume it has.

I would suspect that the courts would hold it constitutional as a common practice since it has been close to 100 years on the books.

I think it should be illegal, but I don't think the courts would agree, after all, who pays their salary's.
