I've always searched for friends with the same interests.

All you have to do is ask people. Most will accept. Plus no need to rush it. Once you start looking at other blogs and commenting, people will also notice you and maybe ask. People in answers will also ask as long as you have a link to your page.

I've had people ask whom I've never talked to before or after they've asked!! LOL

Be slow in choosing a friend and slower in changing. Just be careful of who you add to your friends list.
